FACT
No Arsenal manager has gone as long without a trophy as Wenger has. They've either quit or been sacked before going this long.
FACT
Nerd points.
I looked it up too just to see. On May 12, 2005 Arsenal won the FA Cup (after just wrapping up the league title too) and on August 7, 2005 they picked up the Community Shield too. If they don't play and win the 2012 CL final on 12 May this year then Arsenal cannot win a trophy at all until February 2013 at the earliest. Which would be 8 years and 5 months (and however many days - the League Cup is usually the last week of Feb) for Arsenal to not win a trophy of any kind.
Ouch.

'Disloyal' is spot on Eb - is there any loyalty in football any more?
I s'pose you have to expect the big clubs will attract more than their fair share of glory hunters, who revert to type and turn off at the first show of a dip in form, but a lot of the players are just as bad if not worse, it's all about money and CL football.
Clubs should move away from 'player power', I was impressed with Levy's stand over Modric in the summer....looks as though Arsenal may do the same.....http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/trans...-going-nowhere

I read an article yesterday, where Fergie said the only world class player England has produced since 1966, is Paul Gascoigne. That must have pleased Rooney.

He also said he was stepping down in 2 years - and didn't know who was going to replace him, but highlighted how Moyes had done such a brilliant job. Jesus, no offence Zargof, but not David Moyes.....

Yeah, I thought that too. He also said he wished he had bought Hart. de Gea must have been thrilled too.

It will probably be the Special One, unless of course he goes to the Yids when 'Arry goes to England...
