Not sure David Sullivan was out there pelting it though.

Also not sure selling porn makes someone scum.

How do you even know he was aware of what went on, the coach wasn't late due to the incident.

Are you HONESTLY trying to tell us that the director of West Ham has walked out to talk to world wide media having NO IDEA that the United team coach has been attacked outside his own stadium....seriously?

It definitely didn't speed it up though eh. When it's stood still being battered by bottles etc it's not going to help it get there with minimal delay.

Never mind.

Oh, bloody hell, I've been in America too long. When I read the coach was attacked, I thought someone had beaten up Van Gaal. Numpty that I am ...

I thought away teams usually travelled down on the morning of the match (or the afternoon before if it's a lunchtime kick-off. They park up at the team hotel for some weight training in the gym then the coach goes through a plan of the game before the team travels to the ground.

I suspect the late arrival is likely due to sheer volume of traffic in the area, and maybe an accident.

From the sounds of it on BBC website, I'm now sorry the United coach arrived at all.... should have just given WHUFC the 3 points and be done with it...

BYE BYE van Gaal, don't let the door hit your arse on the way out...

Not over yet far from it.

We've been excellent yet only scored once.

So I hear....if we get anything tonight (and let's face it, if we don't win, a draw is useless to both clubs) then van Gaal might be the luckiest git ever....sounds like we haven't even made it over the halfway line in the first 30 minutes....utterly devoid of clue, that boy....no passion, no emotion, no tactics, no motivation.

I hear Carroll had one of the misses of the season...

I'm exhausted, and emotional.

Been a long night in our house, all up at 3am.

Feel quite gutted.

Why do you feel gutted?! You knew ahead that even a win wasn't going to get you into the CL spots, and the goal difference means that even if citeh do lose at Swansea (which they most definitely will NOT now) your lot couldn't overtake them...

We got what we deserved for a season full of underachievement. The only reason van Gaal may not get sacked now is the FA Cup Final, and sacking him might undermine the players preparations ahead of that game, but after that, I'll be stunned if he's still our manager.

Roll on the summer. Lots of changes everywhere, new players, new managers, new stadiums...changes that can only mean less of 'this' and more of something that must surely be better.....
