Rio Ferdinand has decided now is the right time to retire, everyone else decided that a few years back.

If you're going to open new threads for the PL at least close the old PL thread so peeps don't get confused as to where to find my latest intelligent and witty posts.

Oh, and my Pete and Abbey are expecting their second baby any day and there will be pictures posted on this thread.

P.s Come on Villa!
I'll close it when the season is over....aaaaaannnnnd we're done.

Rio is a bellend. Great player but personally I won't forgive him for holding the club to ransom for a bigger salary while suspended for missing a drugs test. I'm sorry for his loss, but he's still a twat.

So, predictably the most boring, one-sided Cup Final since we slaughtered the Sarf Landan animals back in 2004....even Arsene looked only mildly interested after Walcott won the match in the 40th minute.....yawn.

Still, nice to see Sanchez showing Brenda what he missed out on again....how different things might have been, eh...?!

Great. Weeks and weeks of avoiding news stories about Schneidlerin, Clyne, Alderweireld et al.

Oh, this ****ing game is addictive. Just the paper rumblings of Viera as a manager has my interest piqued.

Apparently United want him for £25m.

Also, apparently Liverpool bid £10m for Clyne. Also apparently (and just as believable) they got told where to go very quickly.

United, as usual, are linked with anyone even remotely rumoured to be looking for a move...I never believe it's actually true until the lad is standing raising our scarf above his head in front of the Stretty.... silly season is underway....

Just so we don't all die of boredom from transfer rumours I come to you with this, Crouchy's wife is due to give birth to their baby any day now, these shots that were taken when she was 7 months pregnant, were published in the Mail a couple of days ago.

She's clearly a stunner but interested to get a bloke's perspective, what d'ya reckon, sexy mumma or yuck no thank you?
