Default Premier League 2015-2016

Here we go. Last season is a distant memory. It no longer counts. AFC Bournemouth are top of the league, and deservedly so. This is the football thread. Premier league, FA Cup, internationals (if you must) and European Cup (sorry Liverpool fans) are all fair game. No baby talk.

Can Utd retain their title this year? They snuck in ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea.
I had to read the table again as I couldn't believe that the Council House occupants across the city finished in 11th spot yes 11th.
Now before you accuse me of being on drugs Im not talking about the actual game being played on the pitch its how many seats were filled for the 2014-2015 season.
https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/video...145343986.html

Can somebody please tell me why the Berties are expanding their capacity when they can't fill every seat at their present capacity?

Let me think on that for a nano-second - oh it will be because some games could be sold twice over even if some others have some empty seats - rocket science eh!!! Oh no it's simple maths

Typical response from a Bitter. I was more interested as to why the best supported club in Manchester who are all locals even those from Stockport can't sell out Champions League games.
Of course you could sell out certain games twice over as you only allocate Utd fans 3000 tickets
That City is certainly yours.

It was nice to see all those City fans turn up dressed as blue empty seats on fancy dress night!

I can't remember seeing OT look half empty - except for league cup ties. It's odd given City's "massive" support. "We support our local team" they sing... No, you don't.

Half empty?

The stats in the video refer to league games only. The gap in the top 10 there is a mere 3 percent. Basically one poorly attended league game can pull a team down.

It's click bait.

Obviously Old Trafford was fuller their fans had the least games to fork out for last season across all competitions.

Lots of City games on TV showed the ground with huge swathes of empty seats. European Cup and EPL.

Or Brendan Rogers?

Guardiola and Mourinho should be made to fight to the death in 2 years for the United job. We all know that's the one they both want more than any other.

Well depending on how long the Sheiks stick around its plausible that both might consider our noisy neighbours if the contract offered suits them. Both managers have basically won everything trophy wise but if you look at Citys history prior to the money being spent on them its mediocre at best. Also depending on their egos can you imagine them taking over at City and winning the EPL then a Champions league. Oh how they could play up getting the Utd fans riled up and making statements like Utd are now like Liverpool in the 70s and 80s and relying on their history.
Throw in Klopp and it will be interesting to see what transpires over the next few years.
Would love to see Moyes take over at Liverpool unless we have Rafa part 2.

For Christ's sake, this is what happens when we have a Man U fan bossing the Locker Room.

If you're going to open new threads for the PL at least close the old PL thread so peeps don't get confused as to where to find my latest intelligent and witty posts.

Oh, and my Pete and Abbey are expecting their second baby any day and there will be pictures posted on this thread.

P.s Come on Villa!
