He had a blinder today - a real game of 2 halves. We could have been 5-2 up at half time. Second half we looked lazy and bored, very odd.
McNair had a shocker - Kane had his number all day and Valencia couldn't cross a field. Rooney and Carrick continue to carry us, God help us if either gets injured.

Lloris has a real knack of being able to throw the striker of their technique.
The "old" Van Persie would've opened the scoring in the first half for sure.
Most of the Spurs team is 23 or under so I always fancied us to get stronger as the game went on with it being the second game in 48 hours.
Delighted with a point. Chelsea next......

Three defeats in a row. We're giving everyone three points at Christmas.

Two losses on the bounce, but we put in a decent account of ourselves specially against the arse. Not too disheartening at all really. COYI

Disappointing to come away from the Lane with only a point, given the chances we created and failed to take, but on the other hand it's a measure of how far we've 'turned around' and progressed in a year that we are now 'back' to being disappointed by an away draw...last year we would probably have lost that game.
The fact that both the top two also dropped points only makes our failure more galling, and Stoke City won't be easy next time out, either.

Thanks to this man we held on to a point, although in the second half I think we looked like the team who had more chance of scoring?

Crazy... he may not have been liked at St. James' Park, but at least he was assured of finishing the season in the PL...he may be a former Eagle, but if he 'succeeds' in taking them down in May, that will count for little with the Palace fans...I assume he's been told there is money to spend in January.

It's not a done deal, as far as I can tell.
I'll be happy to be rid, but that isn't the root cause. I think Ashley "has" something on Pardew, so he has an additional level of control. Pardew being gone gets rid of that additional level of control.
Of course, the giant elephant in the room is who the hell would want to come manage us? I don't see what proposition we offer; no cups, no league challenge, don't get relegated and be prepared to have any player sold as cash is king. Don't expect to be running at any level of deficit.
