Hey Weezy, what's the deal with Ben Arfa Daley? Whenever I see him play he awesome, but he never plays. I understand he's a bit of a twat and Pardew doesn't like him, but there doesn't appear to be any attempt to get shot of him.

A mixture of lack of defensive nature to his game and I assume attitude problems. He's pretty much being forced out it seems. He is a really talented player, and he has had issues with other managers before, but Pardew seemed to be keeping him onside. That seems to have gone to shit over the summer. Who really knows though - Ashley runs the club his way and anyone else can **** off. Haven't seen enough/any of how we'll play with the new boys. Pre season has been OK, but it's a tough first game. Ben Arfa seems to be our current version of Ginola. We're just not a team that seems to want a Ginola anymore. Shame.

Wilf's definitely talking with Palace.....

Zaha, Bolasie, Gayle..... Blimey !!!!! 3 Players tarred with the same brush... with the unheard of one totally lethal..
I dont think people, outside of Palace realise whats potentially coming..... Puncheon and Jerome as back up.

Is he any good then? Our last signing from the MLS was Dempsey and look how that turned out.

Tim Cahill worked well as an Aus for Everton.... Robbie Kruse (badly missed due to injury for the Aus campaign in the world cup) should be getting close to the same level as TC in Germany this year.... Then there's this new generation.

There will be a massive wave of "locally born" top flight Euro capable players from the new world in the next 10 years.

The trick will be getting them to stay put in their respective countries, which is more and more on the cards.

I see Sue must have picked the new thread starter based on being the most knowledgeable and respected poster in the old thread.

Actually I think it's based on the poster she felt most sorry for, due to the fact they support such a shit team (I was a close second).

That means a Newcastle fan will have more success than a Spurs fan this season. Result!

Now you can relax and do cock all for the rest of the season just like Newcastle.

Hard to tell. He stands out in MLS games. While you can see who is dross, the good players are a bit harder to spot, because of the overall level. Hes still young, so you will get the best of him.
