I'm not sure what Sterling's agent is thinking if he really did say Sterling wouldn't sign for 900K a week but the options seem pretty clear, sell him and try to get as much as we can from him or keep him, stick him back in the reserves and let him fester there until he leaves on a free. If he's on 35K a week we can probably afford to do the second option, it would make his agent look like a bit of a twat as it would cost Sterling millions and send a message to anyone else who wants to leave that there's a right way and a wrong way to do it and this is most definitely the wrong way.

Jesus, his agent sounds like a right cocksocket, doesn't he?

He should (all footballers should, really) consider himself lucky to get £900.00 a week. Sod it, let's see if anyone's daft enough to dump £30 million on the little twat, then. That way Brenda can buy another seventeen players to put out on loan ...

Get as much as you can for him, trying to keep players who don't want to play for your club normally aren't worth the bother. There's the odd exception like Suarez, but Sterling is not that good.

He also referred to Jamie Carragher as a knob, so he's not all bad...

Well this guy probably knows a knob when he sees one. He is representing one after all.

I think he'll end up at City on a stupid money deal. He'll hardly play and in 3 years he'll be at West Ham or somewhere as he falls down the divisions into obscurity.

I think United and Arsenal both have enough quality attacking midfielders.

He'll probably be a good buy in Football Manager. That happens quite often, they're shit hot in the game and just, well, shit in real life ...

The standard english player who assumes he's made it when he gets a big contract rather than win he wins trophies or awards.

I remember seeing Franny Jeffers scoring a brace at White Hart Lane.
