Ha ha !! A good ole' discussion about footy.
Nice to meet you Herpes Simplex. I'm a liverpool fan too.

ok, so we've dropped a few points, ( in games where we should have hammered them and walked away with three points each and every time ).
It's not the end of the season, and as long as they keep their mind on the pitch and out of the boardroom, we should be ok.

As for Villa winning the premiership. Now that would be a novelty!!

As for Arsenal they have a much better manager than Liverpool, and given the same funds as Benitez they would be in a better position attained by playing much better football.

Precisely why Liverpool fans are irritated. My money is on Beni leaving either this summer or during next season to go to Real anyway.

Would Real appoint him, don't their fans demand flair football?

They'd appoint anyone for 3 months.

And let's just say Liverpool get to another CL final. That'll seal it and he'll be off then.

Maybe Rafa's already sorted his Real Madrid move.
Maybe he'll "throw the fight" in the champions league.

And over 1100 minutes without conceding a goal in the league.
Not bad at all.
West Ham next.
What do you think Fraser?

I think it's football and anything can happen. Runs don't last forever.

Really looking forward to the match it will be tough but we nothing to lose and have beaten you twice in a row at our ground, we'll just have to wait and see.

Talking of Real Madrid they've just signed Faubert from us

West Ham is always a game that bothers me. I never feel confident against you buggers.
On a bit of a good run yourselves, anyway.
Not lost for 8 games and 6 of those you won.
Looking at a UEFA cup spot perhaps?

I think a UEFA place is beyond us this year. We've only just started winning at home. We haven't lost away since October (8 games) including trips to Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

We're playing some good football as well, very happy with the way things are going.

Here's where RAfa screwed up.

He had to name his Champions League squad by 31 January. Keane is on it. Hyppia isn't (didn't name him for the first phase so inelligible now) and didn't name Voronin (still a Liverpool player but on loan).

So now Liverpool are one player short. Which just goes to show Rafa didn't think Keane would be leaving.

Keanes a good player, but never got the chance to shine at Liverpool, mainly because he was played out of position, and thus hardly scored.

Keane missed several sitters that me granny could have knocked in. I don't know what the problem was with him, but I'm bloody glad he has gone.

He'll no doubt get his own back the next time he faces the 'pool.
