So, No more F1 on Speed after this season.
Right now it looks like it will be going to NBC. Dunno how bad that will turn out. If it's anything like the way they treated the Olympics, it's gonna blow chunks.

I hope so. that was pretty dire. India next. Not thrilled about that one either really but it couldnt be much worse.
The Austen circuit looks interesting. Anything with some elevation changes adds something for me. makes it less parking-lot like. I wish there was less run-off everywhere though. yeah.. yeah.. saftey etc, but there needs to be consequences for going off.
Lasers or something.
I was thinking more about the possible NBC thing. Right now there is no American driver, but what will NBC be like if one comes along?
Will we see anyone else? Will the whole race be full of crappy softtly played piano pieces with a voiceover telling us all about his struggle to "be the best" and his family not having rent money...

"NBC Sports Group has agreed a four-year deal with Bernie Ecclestone to broadcast Formula 1 from the start of the 2013 season. The first campaign of coverage will start with four live races on free-to-air channel NBC next year, with the remaining 16 being shown live on pay-per-view package NBC Sports Network."

Edit to add that we already had to pay ( not like the uk losing the "free" bbc coverage).

I love having SkySportsF1 channel, even though I only really watch the races on it. It's a massive improvement over the BBC.

F1 is the only sport i watch, so the rest of the lineup is wasted on me.
Hoping it turns out ok.

Speed was not perfect ( too many comercial breaks), but I will miss David Hobbs though. I liked him.
