I signed up to and have heard nothing. All I've read is there is suppose to be two levels of service. Full race coverage for a fee, and highlights for a reduced fee or free.

At least the ESPN coverage now looks better than it first appeared to be. I left England before Sky started showing F1 so don't know what it is like. I assume no adverts, and have read it is very good. Hopefully ESPN will show the races uninterrupted. If that is the case the F1 streaming service might not be worthwhile.

I don't have ESPN (or cable really for that matter), so my viewing is going to be either Channel 4 and/or F1 streaming. Pretty sure Sky has Croft working for them, so I'm not keen to experience that anyhow.

I actually quite like the extended highlights on Chan 4, but I think I will take the streaming option if it happens.

ESPN will also have it on their streaming app if you can't find another way to watch. Interesting to see what or if ESPN charge for the streaming service. Sky charge £18 a month for their F1 coverage. I know Disney own ESPN and soon Sky but I can't see Sky giving the feed to ESPN for free.

To watch the ESPN stream you need an existing cable/satellite subscription.

Its outstanding. David Croft is a good commentator, lively without going over the top. Martin Brundle is the best in the business, bar none. I have lost count how many people I’ve argued with on twitter (as you do) about the ESPN coverage. All the yanks getting upset there is no more Hobbs and Matchett. Even Leigh Diffey tried calling me out on one of my tweets. As soon as I heard about a world feed I suspected it would be the sky comms. I’d love to be sat with a proper American F1 fan as they sit there and listen to what a proper commentary should be like for the first time. In fact, as the first race will coincide with my Saturday night down my local where my mate works, that will happen!

Yes of course my bad. I was thinking what is in fact the NBCSN Gold app, where you can buy subscriptions to various sports, was ESPN.
