On par with McLaren then.

I think Manor have the edge on reliability, so they should beat the McLaren over a race distance.

Made 'em overweight.

Made 'em slow.

May as well make 'em ugly.

Anyone that's been following the Boston Indy race, they're also hosting a Lambo race before hand, 25 cars from teams around the world. It's supposedly some newish world race championship and the first race in the US, or some such.

Tickets are on sale for the Boston Indy race....$99 for a general admission 3 day pass.

$150 or so for the start/finish area seating.

Anyone watching this absolute cluster**** of a qualifying session? What were they thinking when they came up with this idea!?!?!?!?! There is so much going on, you stop watching the cars. Then at the end of the sessions, there are no cars on track. If it ain't broke, then don't fix it, and about the only thing that wasn't broke in F1 was qualifying!!!

The worst idea since double points for the last race! Pole decided with just under 4 minutes of Q3 left. Tell me how exactly that has added to the excitement! This new format won't last thankfully!!

I wasn't fussed one way or another by the new qualifying format.

Stonking time by Hamilton though. Pretty close to the fastest time ever at Albert Park.

I enjoyed it.

There were no cars on track at the end of each session but in previous years there have been few or no cars on track at the beginning of sessions

It was good to see everyone out at the beginning trying to set competitive times.

Qualy 1 obviously caught a few out who did not understand the rules.

Missed it. With it no longer being on iPlayer, I couldn't figure out how to watch it on the Chan4 website. I'm signed in, but I don't see it anywhere.

Reading reports online, it (qualifying) doesn't seem to have been well received.

Ch4 only have highlights of this one. If you are determined to watch it, might I recommend you jailbreak an Amazon Fire Stick like I have. Then you have access to the Sky F1 channel. Despite the absolute shambles the session ended up being, it was brilliant being able to listen to Martin Brundle again.
Anyway, BBC are now saying the new style is already being dropped, but Bernie doesn't want to revert to the old system. His idea is for a time penalty to be added to the previous race's winner. WTF??? I don't know what meds this daft old twat is on, but they are affecting his way of thinking!!!! I don't agree with it, but if you are that desperate to mix up the grids, and you refuse to ban all these aero add ons, then just introduce success ballast. Simple. No stupid time penalties, no daft knock out system where teams don't have time to prep the car, no making one of the wheels fall off mid lap or making the lead driver lap whilst pressing a huge comedy car horn!!!!! If every single fan in the world can see what needs to be done to the sport, why can't the ****ing idiots that are running it see?!?!?!?!

Try http://www.channel4.com/now/c4 to watch Live Channel 4 (although actually highlights in the case of this race). It's on around 1:30pm on Sunday.
