Getting schooled here. Europe's best vs England's 6th - was never likely to be anything else.

Bring on the rubber match. CL final would be a good way to settle it

In that case Jimmy Greaves was Chelsea player.:sneaky:

Luka Modric is so good. I remember when he first arrived in England, one of the papers called him Luka Moderate. I thought that was really harsh at the time. Now, it just looks ridiculous!

Haven't seen a ball kicked, but losing to Real is hardly a surprise at this stage, given the quality they have...it's no reflection on how we'll do this year domestically (since no-one in England could match them, nor even come close).

First weekend: (and I hope you've all got your Fantasy teams entered?! Pommy, where's your team??)

Arse - Lesta: 2-0
Watford - Dippers: 0-3
Chavs - Burnley: 2-0
Palace - Uddersfield: 3-1
Everton - Stoke City: 2-0
Saints - Swans: 2-1
West Brom - Cherries: 1-1
Brighton - citeh: 0-3
Geordies - Spurs: 1-3
United - Wet Spam: 2-1

This Super Cup melarkey has really screwed with our prep for Wet Spam, so any kind of win will do to get us going....

Not much to worry about - you were outclassed and nearly got a draw so very resilient. Lots of strengths for you: Valencia, Smalling, DeGea in particular, however, Pogba was dreadful and I only realized Lingard was playing when the announced he'd been subbed - Rashford did well in 2nd half and Matic looked good.

I see sky are showing every clubs' best ever premier league game. Or in other words, a collection of Manchester United defeats.
