It's evening somewhere in the world......
Reminds me of the time I was told by a Tesco manager that they were refusing to sell me alcohol at 8.30am as I obviously had a drink problem if I needed it that early. I pointed out that I was a night-shift Security guard, and that I was on my way home from work. 4 months later, I am working for a different Security company, working at the same Tesco, and the manager had been transferred to another store. |

Class act, good PR or an empty promise
Yeovil Town's first-team players and staff have pledged to refund the 258 supporters who travelled to watch the club's heavy defeat to Luton on the opening day of the League Two season. The Glovers opened their campaign with a humiliating 8-2 defeat at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. I can't remember Arsenal doing that in August 2011 when they went Oop North.;) |

So a famous Swedish singing group now have a penalty shootout named after them ABBA.
I was never confident that Agnetha would score from the spot. Seems to have worked for Arsenal. Arsenal 1 - 1 Chelsea - Match Report & Highlights |

Yup. I'm going to take a leaf from Ed's book seeing as he's at the Women's golf today, and say that we've won more trophies than anyone else this season!

Err the odd dipper might argue with you as they won the Asia PL title and then lost the Audi cup on penalties.

I like the new penalty shootout format. United v Wet Spam on Sunday, man it feels good to say that. But then I got an email from MUFC this weekend. 2 hours of security checks before every game, and 3 years of major roadworks on the Manchester ring road. Awesome. With TV meaning all United's games will now be at shit hours, I can't even get trains. What a massive pain in the arse. |
