Not surprised. I think it's linked to the Lukaku deal, so Everton can spin it as 100M, but Man Utd get to spin it as 75M.

Yeah, and he's taken a big pay cut to come back to Everton, so a good deal all around.

What are his wages going to be at Everton?

Some where around 150k a week, which works out about the same.

£300k a week with more than 2 years left? Makes perfect sense all round.

Wow! So it's just Spurs now who are the only team in the top 7 or 8 paying saddo wages.

Maybe they're on massive trophy bonuses?

Alexis Sanchez is on £275k per week, and he's worth it.

Allegedly, yes he is.

I do think it's partly a case of an agent trying to get more money for our best player/his client, buty we've shown we're willing to spend now. A new contract really just means money for us if he leaves, no new contract means more money for him and his agent next year.

I think he'll stay though.

Are you sure? I read last week that 275 K was what Arsenal were offering him. Originally he was asking for 300 K but now hes decided he really wants to win something he is going silly at 400 K.

Normally I'd agree, but he looks too stupid to move and actually make something of himself. I think Ali will be the one to test their resolve.

Rumours that Zukerberg (Facebook boy) is looking at putting in a 1 Bn bid for Spurs too, although there's also rumours that the owners think its worth 2 Bn. I do wonder what they're smoking in that corner of London.

Well the new stadium is....struggling in places. I understand it's going to result in many, many claims, but what's new? Levy wants something and wants to **** everyone over in the process and Spurs fans will celebrate it like they've finished second.

But, at the end the stadium will be worth, well, whatever the land is worth. It increases the club value a lot in fairness because it means the new owner doesn't have to spend that cash, but it removes the option for them.
