Hidegkuti, Puskás and Kocsis

OK, so lots to talk about here. It's true that against the top teams Lukaku doesn't perform as well. You can argue that it's because Everton as a team don't perform. But the best players are those that can drag a team to a win by themselves. Lukaku isn't there. If he's not getting the service then he just get frustrated. It's different to someone like Costa or Kane who when they aren't getting the service will work his bollocks off to try and make something happen. This is why he isn't in the very top level of strikers. Maybe Jose can change that, I don't know.

Great post.

Yes, he'll still score goals but I don't see him in the top top category. Maybe JM could change it.

Amen.

Still an Everton player, so I'd say more a typical Scouser. The new Joey Barton. FFS.

Rooney had his medical yesterday, so unless the Everton doctor is blind, that deal's ****ed.

Worst. Attempt. Ever. Even got the ****ing name wrong. 2/10.

Obscure, but brilliant reference. On a similar vein, my aunt was the artist for Mike's Marvellous Mini. Possibly the shittest claim to fame ever.

We're above both Tottenham AND Spurs, so clearly having a brilliant season.

Well the deal is done, so some how Rooney blagged it. Then again Daniel Sturridge once passed a medical so yeah...

Which chronicle is that?

It's in such illustrious journals such as the Sun, Star and the Metro. Pretty much written in stone!

Newcastle Evening Chronicle. They are pretty good at keeping up with news about United.

Yeah, and he's taken a big pay cut to come back to Everton, so a good deal all around.

Talk of a £10m "loyalty payment" from United. If true, that would have helped.

makes sense still cheaper than keeping him for the rest of his contract, which must be north of 30 mil?
