This might bring a wry smile to a number of Spurs fans.

Hey Liam Brady what are your thoughts on that 8 year old kid over there.
He's a bit of a chubby kid and not very athletic.
I guess we should let him go then.

That chubby not very athletic kid Liam Brady was talking about at the Arsenal Academy was a certain Harry Kane.

So Juve tonight....Juve!! Very excited for this game.

I guess the general consensus is that they will beat us, but although I've not seen much of Juve recently I amhoping our fitness levels and our pressing may just tip some of their old boys over the edge?

Ryan Mason has retired.

He kept saying how much he wanted to come back, but I'd guess recently becoming a dad gave him a new perspective on the meaning of life and priorities. Good luck to him.

A Hull City v Spurs testimonial match would be a nice idea...

Juve are decent, but they are certainly beatable and I fancy Spurs to give them a real battle over two legs...that tie literally could go either way

Ryan Mason- never fulfilled his potential at Spurs, and it's sad to hear he has decided to pack it in at his age- always seemed like a good lad.

Rumours that Alderweireld will NOT sign a new deal at Spurs...I hope Woodward has made sure he is at the front of that particular queue then, because I'm more than sickened of watching Mike Smalling besmirch our shirt year after year....

Oh, and twat Shearer never changes, does he?

Mourinho says Newcastle United were a bit lucky to beat us (whilst praising the efforts of the Geordie players, and rightly so).

Rafa Benitez admits Newcastle United were a bit lucky to beat us.

But, oh no.... Shearer refutes BOTH the managers, and says Newcastle were anything but lucky to win, despite clearing goal-bound shots out at least 4 or 5 times during the game and scoring from one of only two decent efforts they created.... Whilst they certainly deserved something from the game for their efforts, once again Sheerah can't put his club loyalties to one side to try to be objective as a pundit....

Once a biased runt, always a biased runt. It's like Lawrenson with Liverpool...YEARS later, he still has never predicted an LFC loss on his BBC 'Predictor League', and is often up against Yank muppets who can't even pronounce the club names, much less know anything to make predictions....

Once again, Auntie Beeb is simply incredibly lucky...to be funded through public "tax" money, because some of the people they pay for a 'service' are inept.

It is an odd thing - being abused for having a great defence. If the Scousers had one, they might be further up the table. If you had one, you might not be staring relegation in the face.

But - give me this over Moyes and Van Gaal every day of the week.

Spurs / Juve tonight. I’m neutral.

When I say neutral, I’ve learned Italian, have Buffon’s face tattooed on my neck and am waving a 40’ black and white flag out of my window. Forza Juve, Forza!

Odd, I would've thought Spurs were favourites for this game, Italian sides seem to be living off the scraps of the other leagues and let's face it you don't really want to be beaten by a team with Szczęsny in it do you? The Arsenal fans would be all over that.

no Juve is a very strong side at mo:

Bufoon, Chiellini, Costa, Matudi, Pjanic, Khedira, Dybala, Higuain, Manzukic, Sandro etc quite a few of whom are in demand by PL teams..

Let's face it, United fans expect 4-0 every week, regardless. The only fans I've ever heard chanting (regularly) 'Attack, attack, attack attack attack'. Beating sides 1-0 or 2-1 doesn't seem to thrill at the Theatre of Helmets. The irony of United's 'problems' is that you're just a bit shit everywhere. The centre halves are bang average, the midfield is so inconsistent in selection and performance and you've got a man who can trap the ball 40yrds for a lone striker.

Just like everyone, you've got problems, parking the bus means you concede fewer goals as one part of the problem.

Hooky,

congrats on winning the League Cup. They just appointed that cheating b######d who reffed last year's FA cup semi final to stage manage an Arsenal victory again.

grrrrrr
