any takers for England being bowled out for under 200?

65-0 at tea, whatever happens we mustn't rollover if we lose which in all probabilty we will, we need to let them know we wont do it without putting up a fight.

I'll probably be back in hour 89 all out

All this talk of Thorpe or Pietersen before the 1st test, why did the selectors not consider Thorpe instead of Bell??

Hope you put money on the first Test's outcome; you probably would've made a decent packet.

Give the guy a break he's only played a handful of tests and now he's facing the best team in the world - besides he wasnt the only one to fail with the bat in that instance would you drop Vaughan and freddie as well, they didnt score many either???

have to say i`d rather see bell than say rob key :scared: bell will come good!
as for vaughan he has`nt been convincing with the bat since the burden of captaincy!if he was`nt captain he may well of been dropped himself

You seem to have missed my point which is that all the talk before the ashes started (that I saw/heard) was should the last spot goto Thorpe or Pietersen. Should not Bell have been thrown into the equation too therefore having the three players competing for two spots instead of two for one?

Anyways this is all in hindsight now seeing as Thorpie has given it up.
