I'd like to see Ponting stay at the crease for the duration and have fully watched his team crumble around him.

423 would have been a record if it had been reached but I still thought Australia could go for it. I thought the declaration was a very fair but I personally would have declared with around 450 in the bag. As sport goes it does not get much better than this.

Stolen by the weather

Two games to go and we have to win one without losing the other. Going to be difficult but I think Eng are the better side. I felt that this was a must win though.

Agreed. The Aussie commentators (Radio 5) also said England were the better side.

As in this case the better side doesnt always win and unfortunatley i think Australia will take more from the result then England - But i have to say England look in a healthier state for the next few years unlike the aussies
