I was watching the Newcastle game but had the live updates up too - that was a fantastic end to the season. We’ve got the CL final and seeing which other team from up north replaces Burnley, then it’s time for a new thread.

Roll on the transfer window and us selling Chris Wood for a loss 😂

Sat and watched with the mrs, the coverage was actually brilliant (apart from Richard Keys), with goals shown from all over and even a split-screen for the City and Liverpool games at one point.

Absolutely unreal game at City, loved watching it and enjoyed seeing Pep's emotions at the end. He might have a lot of trophies but it still matters.

Pleased to see Burnley **** off to a lower league where they belong and to see Spuds get top four, I think Conte has bought well and they'll do alright. Arsenal's journey continues but again on the up.
Nice to United struggle still, I won't lie. Although mental that Ronaldo only finished 4-5 goals behind the golden boot sharers (Son deserves it for no penalties, but such is).

Saints got to 40 points about 8 games ago and stopped, we're truly lucky not to be down. In our last 13 in all competitions we lost 10, drew 2 and beat Arsenal. Outrageously bad and I couldn't defend Saints if someone said the same about us as I did about Burnley above, genuinely couldn't.

Still, we march on and I take a comfortable second in the fantasy league. Congrats Cainess.

Yeah must have been a great day for the neutrals but I have no finger nails left - had given up hope before that fantastic 5 minutes changed the entire season for Citeh (must have broken Bristol's heart;)).

Leeds surviving by the skin of their teeth and Spurs making it into the CL too.

Newcastle has been turned into a decent team by the new manager and look likely to make the big 6 the big 7 next year...

Well done Cainess and Scamp on pushing me into a distant 3rd in the FF but at least Hooky made me look competent - thanks Dave.

4 titles in 5 years for Pep and the team not bad for a coach who had apparently run out of ideas 2 years back ;). Pep has now won more PL titles than Maureen or Wenger!

Yesterday had not quite the drama of Auguerooooooooooooooo!!!! but not far from it. PHEW!!!

DAZN which shows Goal Rush had the Citeh game on as the main match so I watched it. I could have watched the Yernited game or the Darts and chose to watch the Squatters. Kudos to whoever started the rumour that Villa had equalized which sent parts of Anfield in a happy mood.
Sooner see Leeds stay up than Burnley just for the rivalry. Nice to see the Bar Codes have some hope and the chants of "Were Richer Than You" ring out.
Just glad that season is over from my perspective and I am not expecting too much to change for next season on the pitch but might have a happier dressing room once we get rid of the deadwood but then finding out we have a very limited transfer budget so might have to keep some.

As they would say at the Wigan Casino in its day "Keep The Faith"

We need Fubo(Canada) for next season just in case you didn't know. DAZN only good for cups and rugger, which is fine. Just a shame it now needs two subscriptions to get what one subscription has got us for the last few years.

Yup pissed about that because now I will be missing the Darts. I hope the Fubo stream is as good quality as the DAZN one as I have heard they have had complaints. Same price plus we get to watch Law & Crime Network. Must remember to cancel subscription in August.

It wasn't far off. To be honest, if I'd been watching alone I'd have enjoyed it but the Mrs was going bloody loopy as the goals were going in because I'd explained it all and that we definitely wanted a City title over Liverpool. Watching with an individual who isn't even neutral but not even remotely interested but got swept up in it all was genuinely fantastic.

I'd suggest she watches more with me don't think I could keep her awake to survive a Saints game though to be honest.

I wonder if the JP at Thames Magistrates Court this morning will rather than ask a question will break into song and go "Hey Kurt Zouma oh ha I wanna know how you kicked your cat"

It ended well but being 2-0 down in both the last 2 games played hell with my nerves... and finger nails

On the bright side, Saints seems to have some very good players coming through the Academy - your U18s were southern champs and gave Citeh a tough game in the north vs south champions playoff final a tst Mary's... that Kamari Doyle looks like a real talent?

There's some super players, but keeping them is a problem I think, that and giving them enough opportunity. Farm them out on loan may work sometimes, but not others, they might just level down.

Ralph's a proper hokey-cokey manager in terms of support. One minute I believe in what he's trying to do and accept that we finished 15th last year with the 14th highest wage bill and amongst the lowest level of investment over the last 5years, so what to expect?
Then there's another part of me that thinks the decisions he makes are ****ing atrocious - subs on defenders to hold out against Norwich with ages to go and 1-0 up, ends up losing. Waits forever to change anything, then realises we only have one plan. We're capable of drawing with City but get pumped by the likes of ****ing Burnley (RIP, dickheads).

I do think some fans have forgotten that pre-Poch and success, pre-League One and Championship big-time behaviour, we were in a relegation fight EVERY ****ING YEAR. It was my entire childhood, just praying all the time and then staying up to see the 45 second highlights at the end of MoTD.

Sigh.
