Sure, normally, but it's the claim that Pep would use him where individually he's useless as well as not suited to Pep's tactics.
If the club and all concerned know it's utter bollocks it's not going to work. Anyone interested in Pogba just won't believe that. In Ronaldo's case it probably made no difference to wages, they'd have paid it anyway.
Lukaku's agent could claim Pep said he was the sort of player City needed but nobody would believe that.
There has to be some level of realism involved. Sergio Ramos considering move to ManU, for example. He stayed and got the desired pay rise at Real Madrid, but at least it was believable at the time it was put out there.
There's 'possible' and there's nonsense.

You state the obvious in your possible and nonsense line but it doesn't change the fact that it is pogba's agents who arelinking him to citeh - it's not rocket science

Lots of noise in the media about Haaland coming to Manchester ...... wonder whether there is any truth in the speculation... would be nice if true

It will be interesting to see how it compares to Lukaku for Chelsea. Or Werner to Chelsea, come to that. At least Werner's game suits Chelsea, unlike Lukaku.
I've not seen enough of Haaland to tell if he'll be a good fit. I suspect he might improve the chance taking rate but possibly at the expense of fewer chances being made.
Who is going to play significantly less and will they rock the boat?

To answer your question on who will play significantly less of course the answer is.......... no one! If you watched more citeh games you would notice that Pep rotates the front 5 constantly from
Sterling 28 games
Jesus 26 games
Foden 27 games
Mahrez 25 games
Grealish 24 games
Gundogan 25 games
KdB 26 games
Bernardo 32 games
5 of 8 play with Rodri most games - games played so far 55!
It is very good of you to be so concerned for Citeh but please don't worry about it!
Julian Alvarez also inbound to compete to play in front 3 and Cole Palmer now fit too.
There is an outside chance that the guardian article may be true but one prefers to wait and see before getting too excited

Unless you're suggesting Pep's new tactic is to have 12 on the pitch at the same time.
