Interesting, we all knew it wasn't going to be Manchester but at least you're not a million miles away.

It is interesting dependent on when you were brought up. I grew up in the 60's and 70's so within a 9 mile radius you had the following teams Preston, Bolton & Blackburn. Then going out further you had Burnley and Blackpool and around the 35 mile limit was Manchester and Liverpool. Wigan at that time were a non league club and Oldham didn't really come into play. My dad had season tickets at Old Trafford so once older that is where I ended up the most. Kids at school wore all colours of scarves and everyone got along though I cant recall seeing any sky blue Citeh ones there again I went to a regular school:sneaky:

There's a huge amount of teams in that part of the country, that's for sure.
I only ever had two options - Man United or Saints. Former came from my Mancunian Grandmother who used to stand in the Stretford end....the latter came from being born there and most kids around supporting them. I can comfortably say I picked the wrong one from a footballing enjoyment perspective, but the right one from having to justify supporting a team hundreds of miles away perspective.
If I followed my Father it would have been long trips to Dundee United and my Uncle is mad on Leeds.

Salah might just have done enough to make me keep him in the fantasy team. It was an easy cull up until last night.

Lampard out..., Thomas Tuchel (ex-PSG manager) expected to take over as Chelsea manager on Wednesday.

Oh, and Mick McCarthy is the new Cardiff City manager... Looks like silly season's started again.... :p
