I thought the West Brom penalty was one in real time but then on the replay I wondered why both feet went out the way they did. Legs akimbo. Very obvious dive.

Slight contact with shin, just as there was slight contact with ball. Most obvious dive since that Arjen Robben one when he was at Chelsea and the replay showed the opponent was nowhere near him.

I saw it the opposite way, I didn't think it was a penalty in real time but after seeing the replay I thought it was which shows it wasn't a clear and obvious error and as such VAR shouldn't have got involved.

I was very surprised by spurs they won at a canter and played within themselves.chelsea strolled the premier is just starting to warm up.I am very surprised how all the relegated teams are doing especially bournemouth,i think the championship is going to be a long tough battle and will be a good watch later.I predict an away win for saints 0-1**** 1-2 come on you saints

yeah I think that's spot on SD and is exactly how most neutrals seem to feel.

Anyway, Hooky 72 million for Pepe?????????????

For a club who are very careful with their big money transfers he seems to be a walking disaster

I think he'll be fine... Sometimes, we've been accused of being too soft.

It made absolutely no sense to me, the commentators said it just hit him but he clearly flicked his head towards it, he almost did it again in the second half too.

yeah that's how I saw it - very good performance from Red Scouse if firmino had bought his shooting boots you'd have caught up Spurs on golf difference

So let the banter/discussion begin about fans being allowed back into stadiums after 2 December.

Citeh will be hoping they are in Tier 2 so will be able to announce game as a sell out with 2,000 in attendance
Fans may be ordered not to sing, shout or drink alcohol when they are allowed to return to Premier Leaguematches under a new Covid Code of Conduct. This wouldn't affect fans at Southampton home games anyway.
Each fan will be required to complete a health questionnaire and be expected to wear a face covering at all times. Don't Arsenal fans do this anyway to stop them being recognized and shamed by other family members.
They are also likely to be permitted to bring in their own hand sanitiser bottles of no more than 50ml. Wasn't this normal if going to Anfield anyway?
If Surrey is placed into Tier 3 lockdown then will Yernited reach their 4,000 capacity?
If alcohol sales are banned in the stadium then will you be able to still take drugs if watching Everton?
For hospitality suites Newcastle have asked is a Pie a substantial meal to go with the sale of alcohol.
There is one ticket available left for a Cherries home game. Who gets it Pommy or her husband?

At this rate, by the time we get back to Dean Court, the Cherries will be back in the prem and it will be like the Championship never happened.....

Reading the comments from the Barca President candidate about the European Super League makes no sense to me, he says he's in favour of the league so more top clubs face each other and they don't have to wait 7 years for Liverpool vs Barca but if Liverpool and Barca would stop losing games to other opposition they'd meet each other every year so they only have themselves to blame. Personally I thought Athletico played absolutely shite against us last season and needed Adrian to gift them the win but it's still our fault we lost and could've been avoided so a Super League is still a terrible idea.
