no they tried throughout the game to play out from the back and they had 46% possession at our place they just didn't have the quality of the Silvas, Augueroooooo and KdB that make the difference

Drooping points to the Arse from a winning position is the norm for Spurs, very relieved to get the draw at the end.

The Gooner has gone home (with his wife who talked thorough the whole game), he has suggested we do the next NLD round his, as if the whole fixture isn't stressful enough!!

Got a decent win today. Finally started scoring goals. Iwobi looks like he might turn out to be a decent player now he actually getting some game time. Kean is only getting better. The team has started to look better the last couple of games. Hopefully it continues, but it's been a typical slow start from Everton.

As for Wolves, they foul more than Citeh. That Traore is a beast though, he practically ran through Digne several times today.

Ceballos looks like he'll fit in perfectly, and Guendouzi is doing better this season across the pitch from him. As I said earlier, Xhaka is the weak link there. Switch out Xhaka for Torreira and play Ceballos on the right, and I think we'd have a better midfield.

The NLD commentator on MotD tonight said before the game that Spurs have never beaten Arsenal in September in the last 50 years. I guess that's 51 now then!

Should have got the winner? That Tottenham performance was atrocious, I have no idea how we got two goals??? Arsenal should have beat us 4-0 but for some awful defending and poor finishing. Tottenham were absolutely turgid and gave the ball away far too casually whilst also failing to string together anything meaningful. I was delighted with the result but performance wise disgusted. No idea what has happened to us but if we don't improve we'll be lucky to finish in the Top 10. 4 wins from our last 16 Premier League games does not lie.

I was super relieved VAR saved us. That was chastening. You should go to the Gooner's house though as we can't play any worse and like last year the NLD at the Emirates will be their cup final and marquee performance. Imagine drinking all his booze to celebrate the tonking Spurs will give them. Glorious!

I can see Arsenal fans trying to turn this into their new trophy. We're not good enough for St Totterings or Fourth Place trophy any more let's have the "Spurs have never beaten us in September " Trophy. When that one falls away maybe you can change it to July or August?
