After today's performance I can't help but feel Athletico are now favourites to go through, we're conceding in every match and I can't see us scoring 3 the way we're playing so our season may well be over sooner than we'd planned, that said I'm not convinced we'll get the points we need in the league until Villa or Burnley. These early games are utter shit too, I don't even get up at 6:30 on work days it's criminal to be doing it on the weekend.

When they said on TV that if City play 3 games before we play again I was thinking we had a week off, but nope, they're playing 3 games in 6 days. Blimey. It would be a massive anti climax if they lost all 3.

Well another 3 points for us and the other results helped so a bit of a gap. We have 2 what should be easy games coming up.

The Monday game between Leicester and Villa could be important, I looked at the Villa remaining games, challenging, and they need to start getting something.

Can't stand Man U, but even I have to admire that sneaky stoppage time goal.

City didn't really seem too bothered, I guess they're more interested in the Real Madrid game. Both goals were avoidable though. I can't see why Sterling gets so much praise though, if offered him or Sane I'd take Sane every time, he's been missed this season.

6 points to go now.

It is possible they will be champions by the time they play the next game, against Everton (unlikely, but possible)

I think Sterling thought he was being marked by Aaron Two Bissakas today.

Sterling was dog crap but it doesn't mean AWB is good. He's a bit of a full-back fraud at the moment. VERY good defensively but going forward? I'm not sure he can pass.

Manchester..... Red.

Fantastic...but begs one question: why wait until nearly the end of January to sign a player (Bruno Fernandes) we so badly needed, and who in the space of a month has become an utter hero for us Red Devils...??! Why not last summer (Woodward??), when it was obvious to even a blind man that we needed a creative midfielder...?! That decision alone may end up being the difference between CL football and none next season (though hopefully Ole has us on a charge now...).
