Noticeable differences between managers in their training styles and injury levels as well. New manager might be different and people like Wilshere would have been more effective by playing more.
Certainly true with RVP. Spent forever injured at Le Arse and then cam e to United and was hardly out of the team....

Wouldn't bother Saints fans. We (rightly) think Bournemouth are irrelevant.

Liverpool bid how much for Asensio?

Yes, and he didn't get injured once while he was here.

Was it Wenger, or whoever is in charge of the physio department? But I agree with the assessment of it being an Arsenal problem, and leaving probably will be better for Wilshere's injuries. Hopefully things change under Emery.

Everything I ever heard about it was it was down to Wenger's preferences on things....but I'm sure criticism can be shared around.

At the end of the day, Wenger was in charge of everything at Arsenal.... similar to how Fergie was at United. As such, the buck ultimately stops with him for not recognising there was a problem and changing it.

So Danny Ings is off now to re-boot his career. Good luck to the fella.

I can't imagine Wilshere being an angel of the pitch either. Lifestyle catches up with the modern professional footballer.

Wilshere had been caught smoking and drinking in the media multiple times.

It's a combination of club (wenger + medical), player (attitude and lifestyle) and some poor luck. Wilshere knows the truth........

The burnout of Wayne Rooney similar. Was it too many games at a young age or well hidden drinking. His body shape was never right.

Gone are the days when players ate, drank and did whatever they want and still played everyone else out of the match.

I think that's just his bodyshape, his genetics and if he'd been a sober, vegan who prayed daily and trained everyday it wouldn't have made a difference. Possibly he didn't help matters but there you go. For me his apparent 'burnout'.... was due to playing at the top level from 16/17yrs of age. There can't be too many players who are first team starters from that age and remain there into their 30's..... and with his give it all attitude and style of play its hardly surprising he's slowed down. Possibly his error was not modifying his style of play as he got older so it has less of an impact on his body.

Comparing Wiltshire to Rooney is a bit strange tho.

Probably right and some truth in it but have a look at his off season at the moment, seems to be working his nuts off.

Because he's unemployed and trying to con some suckers into signing him. Owen Hargreaves did the same to get City to sign him.

Actually chuckled at that. He's got stiff competition from the whirlwind of shit signings post world cup. Seeing as big teams are struggling there are going to be some Salif Diao style signings to come from this world cup.
