Le Arse have a brutal start! City then the Chavs.
Also, Spurs have to wait until mid Sept until they can have their first home draw.

No point worrying about all that yet....the teams will look a whole lot different once the post-WC buying panic sets in during late July, and the average weekly spend for PL clubs is around £20m for those 3 or 4 weeks of blind panic....

So you have waited 51 years to compete in Europe albeit the Europa League second qualifying round. You have just gone out and got a new shiny 10 year passport. And the draw is made and its Burnley v Aberdeen

GREAT draw for Burnley, then.... opposition that are easy to get to, have a decent pitch and are eminently beatable.... perfect.

Man Utd sign Fred. Feeling a whole lot of meh for this signing tbh. We will see how it pans out.

Hate to give Mourinho any props but Fred is a fantastic signing. Very interested to see where he'll fit in.
I'm pretty happy with the Arsenal signings so far, sounds like we have Sokratis coming in 1st July and this Torreria (I think?) coming in too.
As Cainess said, it'll be interesting to see the squads after the transfer window - few players putting in solid performances at the WC will be looking to move on to bigger clubs I'd imagine.

Without injuries I think he could've been something very good, but his ankles are made of glass and it's hard to justify paying him 100K+ a week when he spends most of his time on the treatment table.
A lot of other fans are saying it's a shame as he's an Arsenal fan. Who cares... I can think of a certain very good striker who plays for the peasants up the road (and who bailed us out against Tunisia) who is an Arsenal fan too - it doesn't mean shit.

Actively avoids pain relieving injections (for example) and so players spend longer 'injured'.
Noticeable differences between managers in their training styles and injury levels as well. New manager might be different and people like Wilshere would have been more effective by playing more.
Anyway, apparently we're one of the clubs in for him. Can't see it happening because A: we're not in London which might make a difference to him and B: we won't pay as much as a West Ham or Newcastle etc.

Wenger is to blame for so many of your injury problems through the years.
