Sorry Scamp!

Koeman to Everton?

If it happens, who would replace him?

It's a shame but he was leaving next year regardless. Everton are a 'bigger' club with a boat load of cash to piss around with and a much bigger pay cheque for him than we can afford.

I think it's short sighted but nevermind. We'll do the rest of the Prem a favour and go and find the next manager everyone wants. Umai Enery (sp) would be nice though....ambitious but nice.

The tricky part is actually using him that way. Every few years we buy a tall striker who can muscle their way in to the box and head in some crosses if we need to change something up, then we do absolutely no such thing and sell them for half of what we paid for them and class them as a flop.

Exactly. But as long as Sanchez and Ozil keep doing what they do best, I think he'll be first-choice striker.

Villarreal's Eric Bailly apparently United-bound....have to say I know next to nothing about this lad, other than he is a very young and relatively inexperienced CB, bought by Villarreal to replace Gabriel when he moved to Arsenal.... anyone know anything about him?

His exploits against Madrid sound good.

Manchester United target Eric Bailly 5 things to know about the Villarreal star - ESPN FC

Decent mark up for Villareal mind you.

Decent, solid, not going to score or get many assists, but he will get the pass to the guy who'll get the assist.

I'd take him.

It's looks like it's pretty much a done deal now. I think he'll do a good job, but I would have preferred De Boer or Emery.

You can have Martinez, he'll be phenomenal for you I promise...

I think it's a superb signing by Everton... Koeman is a top manager IMO, and with money to spend at Goodison I'd expect Everton to be much stronger next season.

Koeman actually teaching John Stones how to defend will be the first order of business, I'd imagine....
