Default Xbox (original) - North American

I've been going through my old game systems to see which ones I may be able to get around the voltage issues once we move to UK (all systems are Canadian).
I have an original xbox (I know, not exactly up to date) and it indicates on the system 120v.
Is there any way I can adapt this to be able to use with 240 volts in UK?
I know I can get a transformer, but wondering if there is a less costly and bulky way to do it.
Thanks in advance!

Does it have an external AC/DC transformer? The type on a cable?..or is the transformer inside the box? Plenty of information on Google.

Original Xbox uses an on circuit board PSU so unless you want to go buy a 240v one and remove the PSU from that to put in yours a external step down transformer will be needed.

If you are just looking to play your US games then you could pick up a UK Original Xbox from eBay with a mod chip or get one and TSOP flash it. Around here a Mk1 xbox will set you back 20 euros one can still buy mod chips

Or just emulate just as easy, can can play ps1 games on a Raspberry PI3 and all the arcade classics....... Retropie is where it's at...
