Default Disc partitions?

Hi i have a 1tb pc I am using a free dvr newpvr but I want to allocate 90% disc to the recordings. I made a partition E but Win10 is 0nly letting me get about 10%.as partition E. What am I doing wrong?

Never tried one with W10 but things like Easeus and Partition Wizard did the job nicely in W7 days.

Have you shrank your C: partition to 100 GB yet or is it refusing to allow you to do that?

Probably better to use an external disk for your recordings or maximum 50% of you internal disk.

Thanks. So I have a couple of disks left over from dead laptops. What is a good strategy?

I never did a partition in any other windows version so I do not know if this is a known w10 issue?
