Default Meeting Hungarian in London

I have a work colleague in the psychological medicine field and we are meeting her next week. I communicate with her frequently and the reason for meeting is because she is from Hungary. I'm hoping my wife and the work colleague don't slip into their native tongue too much otherwise I'd be absolutely lost for words. My wife is excited and so is my colleague.

I hope it won't be like taking one of the dogs to the vets ...... yes, you've guessed right our vet is also Hungarian so frequently if my wife is with me she slips into her native tongue. She finds it easier to understand what the vet is explaining in Hungarian.

This went better than I expected. My wife enjoyed meeting my Hungarian work colleague. I told them at the end they must be feeling happy because they'd had their Hungarian fix.
