Aeneid is an unknown quantity at this point
Default legal secretary

I'm looking for a job in Kingston, Ontario as a legal secretary/legal admin but am unsure where to start.

Does anyone have any tips on how to approach potential employers given I'm not actually in Canada? It's quite a leap of faith to offer a job to someone you haven't met in person.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, and welcome to BE.

I'll move your post, as you've posted in the Job Offers section rather than Jobs Wanted.

But I'd suggest you look for posts by our lovely mod Siouxie - she's in a similar field, also in Ontario, and has detailed her job hunt in her posts, so that might be useful reading. It took her a long time to find anything despite having Canadian experience and living there.

There's also the Job Hunting section of the Wiki which has loads of useful info in how to find a job from the UK.

Do you already have PR? As I doubt you'd find an employer prepared to pay $1000 to hire you, do all the paperwork etc, if not.

Good luck with it.
