Smile Fork Lift Driver Looking For Work

Hello everybody, my first post on here - pls bear with me if I don't get it right at first.
My husband, who is English but lives here in Germany, is a fully-qualified fork lift driver and wants to work in that field again. At the moment he is doing something completely different but wants to get back to his old job again, which he did do for over 15 yrs in the UK. He holds a current resident permit as well as fork lift licence.
We live in the Bonn / Cologne area and are grateful for any hints.

Thank you.

Hi
Sorry but no real positive information on the Fork lift ut my first point of call would be the wiki on here. You dont explain your situation well. Are you taking the lead and immigrating as PNP or TWP etc then your husband maybe able to move and then apply in Canada for employment. You must read the wiki then come back with the questions
Good luck

Hi, Sorry but I thought it was quite clear. Maybe it wasn't. I am German, my husband is English, and we live in Germany. He wants to find a better job here in Germany. Who said anything about moving to Canada? And I don't really know what you mean about reading the Wiki then come back here. Thanks anyway.

Sorry my mistake! So you are remaining in Germany and he wants to get back on the forks, I believe that nower days it is EU regulation to have sat a test and you need to have an official "ticket" as no employer will take you on, the courses are on average around 70 - 100 Euro a day (it varies) but as your husband has previous experience he would probably only require a qucik refresher and then sit the test, maybe done and dusted in a day. Hope this helps?
