Another mech fitter needs help finding sponsorship!
Hello to everyone...
I'm a time served mechanic/fitter experienced in car, 4 x 4, light commercial and heavy diesel plant. I also hold a current VOSA vehicle testers license.
Currently I'm employed servicing/repairing heavy plant and specialise in the rebuilding of Cummins and Perkins diesel engines.
I also have skills in welding and fabrication, electrical troubleshooting and repair, aircon repair and vehicle computer diagnostics (EOBDII).
Im hoping to find further information and/or contacts for sponsorship and relocation. Any assistance - however small - would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,
Welcome to BE.
It might help if you mention any countries that you are looking at in particular.

I think its good to keep your options open and not limit yourself.
I'm afraid the UK doesnt seem to have a great deal to offer in my area for my skill set so I think it's time I went walkabout and found new pastures.

Cummins have a rebuild workshop in Perth WAustralia, might be worth a go, i know they are always looking for experienced heavy duty fitters.
