We've got an IT Systems Admin position in Brisbane

We're struggling to fill this role, and I'm struggling to get this to post in the other forum, so figured here was worth a try.

So if anybody is interested, please appliy online. We're looking for visa holders who are either 'in country' or will be very soon.

http://www.aurion.com.au/display.php/CatId/19

please don't contact me about the role.

You might get more of a response if the (view) link on your website worked

Can't fill a position? Are you kidding?

Looking for IT work myself in Brisbane (Project Management) and roles I apply for apparently get 200 applicants.

Don't think much so far of this much-vaunted buoyant IT market I hear about! :)

As the page is not there to load I can't imagine why there has been little response.
Any particular reason why you are looking for a visa holder rather than the homegrown Australian employee????

But out of the 200 there will be 1 or 2 people who can do the job.

Lots of people just seem to apply for all the jobs on seek. You get people who have just done one of those "Hi paid IT job in 6 months" courses who try there luck.

I posted this on an expat website, so assume that the readers would not be homegrown Australian employees.

To be clear.

we're looking for somebody who can work as quickly as possible (so not arriving in 6 months time), and the position does not come with a visa.

Interesting about the comments about the 200 applicants, I'd agree with it.

When the online registration is working  we get a lot of applicants who are applying to everything and anything, and seem to be trying to get a visa to come to Australia.
