Job Description:
We are looking for a SEO Analyst - someone that can provide leadership and support for search engine optimisation, Google Analytics and ongoing SEO initiatives. Your role will be vital in driving leads via SEO campaigns and strategy. You should be both able to write very good technical briefs for others, but also be willing to get your hands dirty where required.
This is not a 'generalist' position, meaning your core focus will be SEO. You will responsible with working closely with our paid search, social media, digital content and marketing teams, but your sole focus will be on SEO. Your Key Performance Indicators will be based on how well you can get our sites to rank organically and how much organic traffic you drive to our websites.

Online Republic is probably New Zealand's most innovative and dynamic eCommerce based travel company. We have offices in Auckland, Melbourne, Shenzhen, and London with around 100 full time staff and a fair amount of part time contractors. We design and build our own booking technology and websites (currently numbering over 3000) and are rapidly expanding in all directions.
The key skills required for this role include:
1. At least 5 years experience in SEO;
2. A specific knowledge on how to achieve top placement in Google, Yahoo, MSN search engines;
3. Having excellent english and communication skills: Able to talk to developers and laymen about all areas of SEO;
4. Having some managerial, and project management experience (essential);
5. A strong technical knowledge and the ability to evaluate HTML, CSS, and Javascript for SEO purposes;
6. A detailed understanding of and hands on experience utilising Google Analytics.
