Wanted! Beauty therapist for salon/clinic in central Algarve, Portugal
We are currently looking for a highly skilled part time beauty therapist and hair stylist for our lovely contemporary hair salon and newly launched anti-ageing clinic in central Algarve.

I just read your ad...a therapist lookin to work there, would need to require a visa am I right? It's just that I am looking to move to another country in a few years time and set up my own business if possible. Would you suggest Algarve as a good location??
I would love to work there, but just dont have a clue where to begin! I could be ready to move there in 2/3 years time..

Many thanks for your response.
I am however looking for a beauty therapist now - would you be in a position to work here for say 6 months? You would need to visit initially for a couple of days so we could discuss. You would need to fly into Faro - many low cost airlines cover the route so it would not be costly.
Also, as we are an EU country you would not require a visa.
I would also be able to secure quality accommodation for you.

Many thanks for your swift reply. Wow! I would definately consider working abroad, I am NVQ Level 2 Qualified, and specialise in threading. I dont know if you have heard of this hair removal technique, but its gaining mass popularity in the UK, with many eyebrow bars opening up. I would like to do something similar abroad, but start off in a salon first. I am also qualified to carry out facials, waxing, eyelash/eyebrow tint, and make up. And I have 9 years threading experience, along with 3 years industrial experience.
How soon would you want me to make a decision? I would need to research a little more as you can probably understand, and I know that I cant carry out laser, so you might find that to be a problem.
Let me know what you reckon and if possible, a bit more information...

In response to your ad I am an english fully qualified hairdresser for the last 3 years and am moving out to Portugal in October. I see you need someone asap but thought I'd drop you a quick line just incase it may not be too late.
One question I do have to ask is where abouts are you??
I know the area very well as have been going for years and my parnets have lived there for the last 3 years and I visit regularly.
