I can see this trade having to come back onto the shortages lists. Most of the companies in the Nelson Tasman area are also looking for a suitably qualified plumber/gasfitter/drainlayer.

Not many employers realise that if they can prove there is no NZ citizen or resident that could do that work or be trained for that work, then they can look to employ someone from overseas. it is just a supplementary employers form proving ads, training etc.
