TESOL Teachers for Thailand

The Education Department of Bangkok Archdiocese (EDBA) is Thailand's largest provider of independent education. It governs 42 modern primary/secondary schools in Bangkok and neighbouring provinces, publishes English language textbooks, contributes to the development of government National Curriculum policy. Through its languages facility, the Nittayo English Language Centre at Joseph Upatham School, the EDBA flagship institution, it also provides a recruiting service for these and up to around 300 further Catholic schools in the country.

There is a constant demand for TESOL teachers, during and outside the main recruiting periods.

The Catholic schools in Thailand
offer excellent working environments, uphold their stated conditions and provide a caring, supportive approach to employment. Free furnished airconditioned individual accommodation, air fares, visa fees, paid holidays and vacations, health insurance are just some of the features of the package.

If you are interested in working
with children in Thailand for a while or settling in the country permanently and have a minimum of a BACHELOR degree in any subject from an internationally accredited university, and are aged 21 - 100 the NELC would like to hear from you.

The EDBA particularly welcomes applications from holders of a PGCE. A FREE TESOL Certificate course is available for suitable new staff who have little experience.

Please go to our website
for full details and job description and all the information you require for living and teaching in Thailand. If you like the idea, you will be able to complete an on-line application form or subscribe to our newsletter to be kept up to date of future vacancies or join the discussions.

PLEASE NOTE: The NELC is neither a job agency nor a CV database for teachers seeking employment.
