Part-time social media job for UK native living in Philadelphia
Seeking a writer native to the UK but currently living in the Philadelphia to blog and tweet about the Philadelphia shopping and dining scene. Your audience will be people living in the UK who are considering traveling to the US.
In addition to writing, you may also appear in pictures or videos with local chefs, fashion designers or other people as it relates to the stories.
This is a part-time freelance position. We are looking for a six month to one year commitment.
Requirements:
• Raised in the UK
• 21 or older
• Excellent writing skills
• Not camera-shy
• Upbeat, fun personality
• Loves shopping, fashion, dining and nightlife.
• Proficient with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, YouTube)
• Good references
• Writing samples
On an ongoing basis for a period of 12 months, each Shopping Ambassador will:
• Blog 1x a week.
• Respond to blog comments, as needed.
• Tweet 3x a day.
• Respond to tweet replies
• Actively search for and engage other tweeters
• Post on Facebook 2-3x a week.
• Respond to Facebook comments, as needed.
• Create and post short YouTube videos ad-hoc, whenever a good video moment happens and is captured.
Compensation: $150 a month
