Default Motor mechanics wanted in Bribie Island ( Brisbane)

Hi to you all, i work for a company in Brendale (Brisbane) as a garage manager and they are part of a large tyre and mechanical group called Tyre Power / RACQ
They have been advertising for motor mechanics and not getting very good quality of response, at present i help run the gargage in Brendale but i will be moving up to the Bribie island garage to take over running of it, they require motor mechanics who will work in the workshop but also they require mechanics that can become mobile mechanics, you will be working for RACQ which as you can guess it is the RAC breakdown but the Q stands for Queensland
To give you some idea of pay you will be earning approx $700/$900 per week.
If any Motor Mechanics are in the process of getting your visas or you need a garage to sponsor you, please get in contact

I have answered for my best friend. They are currently in New Zealand on a work to residency visa which they have done 18months towards. So in 6 months time will have full residency. They took the job to be on that side of the world for when we go over and were once considering eventually looking at moving over to oz. He is a mechanic with quals a pile high - and has landrover specialist experience, mot qualified etc. will give him a shout for you.

In 18-24 months time i may give you a shout !

we are just starting out on the rd to Australia on 136 visas using the wifes qualifications as Accountant .
However i am a fully qualified mechanic to Uk city & guilds standards , 13 years experience , 2 of those years working for Rac & AA contractor . but not been in the trade for 6 years now .

i just wondered about the amount of mechanic jobs in the area & your post interested me & reassured me ! .

regards ,
Scott

If you are looking at being a mechanic in Brisbane then you have a good lot of jobs to chose from, good mechanics are hard to find in OZ, and UK mechanics have had experince on european models aswell that are being sold here now
All the best
