Default Carpenter Vacancies available - Vancouver

Any carpenters looking for work in the construction industry? Our Canadian friends have a successful construction business and are desperate, like many others for skilled trades. Their offices are in Port Kells and have many residential and commercial construction projects on the go. Licence not required.

Hi, my husband is a carpenter looking for work in Vancouver. Have yet to put a resume together (he's never needed one before!). All I can say is that he has 26 years of experience - is conscientious, hard working with a wide range of carpentry skills to offer.

We look forward to hearing from you.

In BC it is much better go via the Provincial Nominee Program route. An LMO take 5-6 months to process. The PNP about 2 months with the advantage that is leads to permanent residence and not just a temporary work permit.

The only problem is that the employer must apply for the PNP and it requires a bit of paperwork and a $500 fee. $500 will not put a serious employer off though some people are daunted with the paperwork. Not that many employers know about the PNP so it is a good idea to read all about it and educate them.

Thanks for your advice, will have to read up on it.
We thought the L.M.O was a good way to go because we understand that you may apply for PR while on a TWP.

Thankyou
