We are an English couple living in an old farmhouse in the haut languedoc national park (www.coumayres.com). I have just returned to work from maternity leave so we need someone asap to look after our 10 month old twins during the day (although we both work from home so we would be close by if needed). Tasks would include entertaining, changing, preparing and feeding them lunch and bottles etc. in addition to light housework while they are napping. You would also accompany us on trips to the supermarket etc. Pay would be on the basis of an au pair - 120 euros a week plus your own self-catering gite for 7 hours work a day (week days only) and occassional babysitting in the evening/at weekends. The gite has British TV (sky) and wifi which you can top up if you exceed the monthly allowance.

Our location is beautiful and great for outdoor activities but quite isolated so we need someone independent and self-sufficient who can entertain themselves in their time off. The house and gites are currently being renovated so we don't have guests but we will have 2 live in builders and gardeners etc from time to time.
