Working as a radiographer in Japan
Hi everyone, I am currently working as a radiographer in Singapore, and obtained my Bachelor degree in diagnostic radiography from the University of Sydney.
I am really keen to have the chance to work in Japan. I once checked with a professor from a college of radiography in Tokyo, but was advised to check with the MOH. I emailed the MOH, but they really didn't give me a proper answer.
So I hope someone who is now working in Japan as a radiographer, please let me know how I can go about doing this? Do foreigners have a chance to work in Japan as a radiograper? Say like in international clinics or hospitals.

I'm not sure on your specific area but; To be a Naika (internal medicine) doctor in Japan you have to pass another test, specific to Japan, that is required by all medical professionals. This test is in Japanese only and relates to a lot of culture specific aspects of practicing. As well as Kanpo medicine (herbal alternative medicine) and natural remedies. It's why Japan has very few foreign doctors.
It's perhaps of no use to you but it might be worth checking whether you would need to pass this test first.
