Tokyo/Narita recommendations
 

Hello,

We have an overnight layover in Tokyo in January next year en route to Cambodia. We're flying into Narita and land at 3pm. Flight the next day is 11am.
Would anyone have any recommendations to stay - we have Hyatt points - and something we must see there?

Really appreciate any tips/advice/recommendations.

The Narita Nikko hotel has a free shuttle bus from/to the airport. This transfer takes about 10 minutes. And, beneficial to many tourists, they have an English website where you can make a booking online. I have used this hotel on multiple occasions. I don't remember if there is a Hyatt hotel nearby.
Unfortunately is Narita airport a bit "in the middle of nowhere" so it is not easy to go somewhere to see something. Narita (the town, not the airport) has some temples in the typical Japanese style. But I guess they already close at 5PM~6PM (sunset is rather early in January). Travelling to Tokyo would take you at least one hour.

I agree with SushiFan Hotel Nikko Narita is a great recommendation if you are looking for a hotel near the airport. You could go to Sakura no yama park which is only about 1.7km away or if you like to go to more tourist spots like temples, etc. you could travel via train to Tokyo.
