Where's all the meet-ups in Italy then???
How come all the meet-ups are in Australia?
I'm an EFL teacher and I've just moved to Sulmona in the Abruzzo region, are there any other ex pats in the vicinity?
Be nice to meet up if so.

Rather than me babling on about stuff in general, let me know what info you need on buying property, areas, living etc and I will let you know what I know.
Cheers

Hi Tim, I lived in Rome for a couple of years and my wifes Family are from Silvi near Pescara. Over the years I have spent many summers in the area and whilst in Rome tried to promote property in the Abruzzo area in the UK. Abruzzo is still seen as good investment (sking in winter/beach in the Summer), great food and country side.

has but it dose not get promoted as much certainly back in the UK.
We are touch with a couple of agents and my wife is coming over in Feb
to see 4 or 5 places all within half hour of the sea. Why is it property jumps
up so much in cost on the coast to inland a bit. Plus there appear to be some
great buys in some villages as in houses then on the coast some relatively
expensine apartments! Silvi is a place we could be interested in we have relations in Montisilvano. Look forward to hearing from you again
