Default Travel Insurance

Hello, does anyone have any recommendations for travel insurance for Italian residents? Anyone who I ask about it here seems to think I’m mad for wanting to buy it. 😄

I use www.globelink.eu. It’s easy enough to get a quote online although it seems very procey just now, I guess because COVID health and cancellation cover is included. I can’t comment on their claims-handling procedure - fortunately fir me I’ve never had to make a claim.

I have just bought travel insurance for the first time in years! We are travelling to the UK tomorrow but not as part of a package - we will be driving through Europe. I got the insurance in case we tested positive in the UK and had to quarantine. We are using Viaggisicuri.com and it cost e51 - it covers extending the visit due to covid but hopefully we won't need it! This is only my find on the internet and can't comment on how it might work in practice.
