Is there anyone in Bari?

Hi all,

I will be arriving in Bari at the end of June to stay with an Italian friend while I look for summer work. I was hoping to be able to meet up with or talk to other expats living in Bari or the Puglia region. I'm British, but up until July 2009, I was living in Canada and I have dual citizenship. If there's anyone around it would be great to get in touch!
:)

I'm in San Vito Dei Normanni, which is about an hour's drive from Bari. There are lots of Brits down here. I have a friend here who is also English but was brought up in Canada. If you like I can show her this link, if she doesn't already use this site.

Hi Margaret! Great to hear from you! It's good to know there are other Brits around. Actually, I hadn't met any native English speakers when I was in Puglia last month. Is there a good bus/ train system linking the neighbouring towns in Puglia with Bari? I also took a look at your link for The Olive Grove - how lovely! Yes, hopefully your friend can check out the thread. I'll be arriving back in Bari on June 19th from Istanbul.
Cheers!
Charlotte
