I can't believe how many mums smoke at the park. A couple of times I've taken my little boy off the swing because there has been a mum with a fag intoxicating us both while pushing her kid. One mum even told me proudly how she lit up just after giving birth to her daughter and was annoyed with the nurses when they called her back in because her daughter was screaming!

Someone told me that it was also banned in parks here in Florence but if that's true they certainly don't enforce it. Last weekend was classic, baby of about 6 months plonked on rug on ground next to daddy who is smoking a big fat cigar! Smell of it made me feel sick, poor little mite :(
