Sicily advice
 

Travelling to Sicily at the end of May, we are based in Catania for 6 nights and planning some day trips to Etna, Taormina and Syracusa etc.

We are now contemplating possibly extending our stay and travelling up to Palermo and staying there for a few days. Is there plenty to see and do there and how does it differ from Catania or is it fairly similar?
