The Final Nail

Just returned to the UK after my ninety days and had my passport stamped on the French/English border. I find it all deeply depressing.

My word..................those who voted for Brexit might not have thought it through !? Does it mean that you cannot return for another year ? Does it mean you cannot return to other European countries ?

It means we have to spend ninety days outside of Europe. So next year we will spend 180 days in Italy but it will have to be three months in the spring and three in autumn. OH tells me that when she retires in two and a half years we may just cross the threshold for a retirement visa. Seems a long way off.
